The 2025
Queen's Club Championships will be held from June 16th to 22nd, and a superb
entry list has been released.
Despite not being of Grand Slam or Masters 1000 level, the Queen's Club Championships is one of the most loved tournaments, consistently being voted as players' favorite ATP 500 event.
How well the players are treated helps to guarantee strong entry lists each year. The Halle Open, another superb event, occurs during the same week, but the Queen's organizers will probably feel they have secured more top players.
Carlos Alcaraz will return to the tournament in London. The world No. 2 beat
Alex de Minaur in the 2023 final, but lost to
Jack Draper in the round of 16 last year after an excellent performance from the home favorite.
Alcaraz's 2023 triumph at the Queen's Club was his first significant statement on grass. He had only played a handful of times on the surface before then, and few rated his chances of winning that year's Wimbledon.
Since beating de Minaur at the ATP 500 tournament, Alcaraz secured two Wimbledon titles, overcoming Novak Djokovic in both finals. After the 2023 final, Djokovic admitted he did not expect the Spaniard to become that good on grass so swiftly.
Alcaraz hopes to add a fourth career grass-court title to his collection. He played at the Queen's Club despite winning last year's French Open, meaning the organizers can feel pretty assured about him not withdrawing.
Draper will feature on home soil once again. He could not back up beating Alcaraz last year, losing to the eventual champion Tommy Paul in the quarterfinals. Draper has a chance to go further in 2025.
The Briton's maiden ATP title came on grass at the 2024 Stuttgart Open. Despite losing the opening set to 2021 Wimbledon finalist
Matteo Berrettini, Draper battled back to win 4-6, 7-6, 6-4 and lift the title.
World No. 4
Taylor Fritz will also feature at the Queen's Club Championships. The American's massive serve and powerful groundstrokes make him one of the most dangerous grass-court players in the world.
Lorenzo Musetti could be one of the most fascinating players to watch in Queen's and throughout the grass-court season. He was the runner-up to Paul last year and was a semifinalist at Wimbledon a few weeks ago.
Nick Kyrgios, who is also on the 2025 Stuttgart Open entry list, plans to play at the Queen's Club. The 2022 Wimbledon runner-up returned from a lengthy injury at the start of the year, but has struggled for form, and his troublesome wrist continues to cause him issues.
Despite being nowhere near the top anymore, Kyrgios has been repeatedly critical of how Jannik Sinner's doping case was handled.
The Australian recently said he did not believe his story about being contaminated and thinks he knew what happened.
Ben Shelton,
Holger Rune, the defending champion Paul, Alex de Minaur, and the 2025 Miami Open champion
Jakub Mensik are among the other players on the Queen's Club Championships entry list.
