Held in the dawn of spring season in the United States, the 2024 Delray Beach Open will run from February 12th to 18th.
This entry list for this year's tournament has been released, with a few of the confirmed players from last year's announcement committing to play this ATP 250 in mid-February. The event is normally held on outdoor hard courts at the Delray Beach Tennis Center.
Whoever wants to be crowned the new champion in Delray will most likely need to best Taylor Fritz, who is the top seed in the tournament. Fritz won the championship last year, beating Miomir Kecmanovic in three sets. In fact, five of the last eight winners in Delray have been American players.
Unsurprisingly, the home players lead the line in a packed 28-man draw. Fritz will spearhead the field and will be joined by fellow Americans Tommy Paul and Mackenzie McDonald, who are among the top eight seeds. Frenchman Adrian Mannarino has come off age after breaking the Top 20 at 35.
Mannarino and British one-hander Daniel Evans will surely add some craft to the draw. Italy's rising star and Davis Cup champion Matteo Arnaldi is also another name to look out for in Delray. Last year's runner-up, Miomir Kecmanovic, will also make the trip looking to go one better in 2024.
All the top eight seeds in Delray are ranked in the world's Top 50. Honorable mentions go to the Australian duo of Jordan Thompson and Max Purcell, who have performed admirably in the last six months.
At least three players will receive a wild card into the main draw, but those haven't been confirmed so far, while the tournament has also reserved three special exemption slots.
The qualifying draw for the Delray Beach Open will take place on the weekend leading up to the tournament to determine four additional players who will compete in the main draw. The entire entry list for the 2024 Delray Beach Open can be accessed below.
