Jessica Pegula has teamed up with beer brand Stella Artois ahead of her Miami Open semi-final match against Elena Rybakina.

Pegula also joins the global brand along with ATP player Frances Tiafoe, who announced his partnership with Stella via Instagram on Wednesday after battling to the Miami Open third round before crashing out of the competition.

In a funny twist, Pegula commented underneath Tiafoe's original announcement, and Stella, the official beer sponsor of the Miami Open, replied with a proposition.

"How do you get a Stella deal? Nobody will cut the check for me."

Pegula replied to Tiafoe's original post

Pegula later confirmed her partnership with Stella along with an advertisement to announce the deal. The advert shows Pegula meeting fans at the Miami Open as she sips a drink of Stella.

In addition, the world number three has joined Stella's Perfect Serve initiative. This aims to give fans tickets and VIP packages to various sports events each season, which Pegula shared on Instagram.

"I’m excited to announce partnering with @stellaartoisusa for their Perfect Serve program in Miami. I love a brand that moves quickly and can’t wait to see what else Stella has in store!"

It is not the first time that Pegula has been linked with a global beer brand at a tennis event. At the 2022 US Open, the American player took a sip of Heineken during a press conference, which was a missed opportunity for the Dutch beer brand as it now turned out.

Pegula's funny moment with a the beer, which she admitted she drank because of the doping control she had to undergo after that, immediately caught an eye of many tennis fans, so while Heineken can certainly look at this as a missed opportunity, it's a big win for Stella Artois.

On the other hand, the American tennis will want to focus on winning on the tennis courts, because off of them, she's already managed to do that with this new brand deal.
