The 2023 Hamburg Open will run from July 23rd to 30th, and the WTA 250 tournament's draw has been already released.
Running along with the men's competition, the WTA 250 tournament at the 2023 Hamburg European Open promises to be an equal spectacle, especially with many great players taking part in the tournament.
The first-seeded player is Donna Vekic from Croatia. The Croatian will want to have a good tournament, and she'll have a chance to do that against Storm Hunter in the first round of the competition, with a possible secone-round clash with either Noma Noha Akugue from Germany or Laura Pigossi from Brazil.
Joining her as one of the favourites at the event is the second-seeded Mayar Sherif from Egypt. The Egyptian will play against home player Eva Lys in her opening match at the 2023 Hamburg European Open.
Bernarda Pera from the United States is the defending champion and also the third seed. The American will play against one of the qualifiers in the first round of the tournament.
