The Sprska Open is an ATP 250-level event that first took place in April 2023 in the city of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2023, the competition took place in its new venue after moving from its original location in Belgrade.

The tournament takes place on the clay course at the Tenis Klub Mladost. Before being upgraded to an ATP level competition in 2023, the Tenis Klub Mladost hosted a Challenger level tournament. Since 2003, the Challenger competition has been played in Banja Luka.

As an ATP 250 event, the Srpska Open gave players the chance to build form and practice on clay ahead of the Roland Garros in late spring. Also, the event in Banja Luka has a singles main draw of 28 players. Three players received wildcard entries, and four other players had to enter via qualifying rounds.

The remaining 19 participated in the tournament based on their ATP ranking. In the first-ever Srpska Open in 2023, several high-profile players competed, including Novak Djokovic and Gael Monfils. Serbian player Dusan Lajovic won the singles title and beat Djokovic on his way to the tournament win.

Lajovic also defeated Andrey Rublev 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 in the final. Also, a doubles draw takes place alongside the singles during the one-week tournament, In 2023, the first Srpska Ope was a competitive event for doubles.

The Australian and English pairing of Michael Venus and Jamie Murray won the competition. Murray and Venus beat Portuguese and Kazakhstani duo Francisco Cabral and Aleksandr Nedovyesov 7–5, 6–2.
