The ATP Tour will be in Bosnia and Herzegovina as the 2023 Srpska Open will be played in Banja Luka from April 17th to 23rd.
Banja Luka has held an ATP Challenger event since 2003 but in 2023, the fans will be delighted to see an ATP 250 tournament in their city. Even more, when the entry list is headlined by the 22-time Grand Slam champion and man that held the world no. 1 spot for a record number of weeks, Novak Djokovic.
The Serb competed at the event when it was held in Belgrade, but now, the Novak Tennis Centre has to undergo a reconstruction in order to ask for an ATP 500 license, and that's why the tournament will be played in Banja Luka in 2023.
Joining the Serb on the entry list is the 2022 champion from Belgrade, Andrey Rublev. Also a three-time Grand Slam winner, Stan Wawrinka will travel to Banja Luka as he wants to show his clay-court qualities.
The entry list includes many names that are capable of having a deep run such as Borna Coric, Miomir Kecmanovic, Tallon Griekspoor, Richard Gasquet, and Jiri Lehecka. Therefore, be sure to check out the full entry list for the 2023 Srpska Open Banja Luka below.
