The 2023 Srpska Open will be an ATP 250 event in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the entry list for the tournament has been released.

Fans in Bosnia Herzegovina will be treated to some high-level tennis from April 17th to 23rd. Some of the best players in the world will travel to Banja Luka to compete in an ATP 250 tournament in the city.

Some of the tennis players who enjoyed plenty of success during their careers were born in Bosnia and Herzegovina. For example, Marin Cilic and Andrea Petkovic were both born in the country. However, they represent different countries, which is also one of the reasons why Bosnia and Herzegovina lacks a big star like Serbia and Croatia have.

Those two countries also have high-level tournaments, and one will now come also to Bosnia and Herzegovia. Banja Luka has held an ATP Challenger event since 2003, but in 2023, the fans will finally see an ATP 250 tournament.

On top of that, the entry list is headlined by the man who held the World No. 1 spot for a record number of weeks, Novak Djokovic. The Serbian player regularly played this event when it was held in Belgrade, and even when the tournament was moved for a year to Banja Luka, he still chose to sign up.

Joining the Serb on the entry list is the 2022 champion from Belgrade, Andrey Rublev. Also, a three-time Grand Slam winner, Stan Wawrinka, will travel to Banja Luka.

The entry list includes many players who are capable of having a deep run, such as Borna Coric, Miomir Kecmanovic, Tallon Griekspoor, Richard Gasquet, and Jiri Lehecka.
