The 2025 tennis season delivered record prize money on the ATP Tour, with top athletes taking home hefty cheques along with glittery silverware.
Among the Grand Slams, the US Open offered $85 million purse, the biggest in tennis history. Wimbledon stood second with a $72.7 million payout, followed by the French Open ($65.4 million) and Australian Open ($62.9 million).
Let’s break down the top five men who claimed the biggest shares of these enormous prize pools and topped the earnings charts.

5. Felix Auger-Aliassime

Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime collected $5,262,350 for his efforts on the ATP Tour in 2025. He edged out Aussie Alex de Minaur by $20,639 to secure the fifth spot in the list of top earners.
Auger-Aliassime won three tournaments during the season. He opened with a victory at the Adelaide International and doubled his tally in Montpellier. In October, he clinched the European Open title.
He also reached two finals—the ATP Masters 1000 Paris and Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships. At the Grand Slams, he finished in the second round at the Australian Open and Wimbledon. He couldn’t win a match at Roland-Garros and reached the semi-finals at the US Open.

4. Taylor Fritz

With the total earnings of $5,475,728, American Taylor Fritz stood fourth in the list of highest earners.
Fritz won two trophies in the season, both on grass. He emerged victorious in Stuttgart as the second seed and in Eastbourne as the top seed. He reaped greater goods at the Majors, reaching the semifinals at Wimbledon and quarterfinals at the US Open.
In Melbourne, the World No. 6 could make it to only the third round and crashed out of the French Open in the first round. He also reached the final at the ATP 500 event in Tokyo.

3. Alexander Zverev

Alexander Zverev made $6,060,174 on the ATP Tour to become the third-best prize money earner in 2025.
Zverev won only one tournament, the BMW Open in Munich, but secured a hefty $1,900,000 cheque by reaching the final of the Australian Open. He ended up as a quarterfinalist at the French Open. At Wimbledon, he couldn’t get going at all and faced an upset in his opener. He lost in the third round of the US Open.
Apart from the Melbourne run, he also made it to the finals in Stuttgart and Vienna. Notably, $83,906 of his total earnings came from his efforts on the doubles circuit. He entered the doubles draw of six ATP Masters 1000 events, in Indian Wells, Monte Carlo, Toronto, Cincinnati, Shanghai, and Paris.

2. Carlos Alcaraz

Carlos Alcaraz is one of just two players to win prize money in double-digit millions in 2025. He amassed $18,803,427 on the tour to stand second in the list.
Alcaraz won the French Open and the US Open, minting $2,897,947 and $5,000,000, respectively. He also produced a run to the title clash at SW19 and played the quarterfinals in Australia.
During the season, the Spaniard won six more titles — three at the Masters 1000 events in Monte Carlo, Rome, Cincinnati, and one each at Rotterdam, Queen’s Club and Tokyo. He also reached the finals in Turin at the ATP Finals and Barcelona. He finished the year as the World No. 1.

1. Jannik Sinner

Jannik Sinner topped the list by racking up $19,120,641 in prize money.
He started the year by defending his Australian Open crown, which earned him a handsome $3,500,000. Mid-season, he won his maiden Wimbledon trophy and secured $4,124,760 for the win. He reached the finals of the other two Grand Slams.
The Italian reigned supreme at the ATP Finals and the Paris Masters. He also won titles in Beijing and Vienna and reached the summit clashes in Cincinnati and Rome. He stands first in the list of highest earners in 2025 despite having served a three-month suspension.
