Coco Gauff continues to rack up achievements even in the
offseason as she makes the Forbes 30 Under 30 US list in the sports category.
Gauff is currently the highest-paid female athlete in the
world. As per Forbes, she made $25 million this year on top of her prize money
earnings of $7,969,845. She features on the prestigious list alongside
the likes of Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen and Philadelphia Eagles’ Saquon Barkley.
The 21-year-old has endorsement deals with New Balance,
Rolex, Head, Bose, Baker, Tilly, Fanatics, and UPS. Besides, she is invested in Unrivaled, a women’s basketball league, and a partner in Religion of Sports, a media production house founded by Tom Brady, Michael Strahan, and Gotham Chopra.
In a conversation with
Forbes, Gauff asserted that she
attaches her name to the brands that she genuinely believes in and finds their products useful in her day-to-day life, as a way of
staying true to her
supporters.
"With all my brands, I try to make sure it's something
that I do and use. I've had opportunities that I've turned down because I just
knew it wasn't authentic to me ... silly things that I could have sat there and
put my face on, and no one would ever know, but I know that's not what I do.
I'd rather not do something that I know I don't really use, because it's not
fair to my audience to lie."

Coco Gauff is only 21 years old and has already put together
an illustrious career.
The young sensation has
won the French Open, US Open,
WTA Finals
and eight other singles titles on the WTA Tour. In doubles, she boasts of 10
trophies, including the one she won at the 2024 Roland-Garros.
She has achieved a career-high ranking of World No. 2 and 1
in singles and doubles, respectively. With prize money earnings of $29,759,121,
she occupies the 11th position on the all-time list. She needs to make two and a half million more to reach the top 10.
She sits behind Germany's Angelique Kerber with $32.5 million worth of winnings. The 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams leads the pack with a whopping sum of $94,816,730. She is followed by Poland's Iga Swiatek, who has made $42,945,490 thus far.
"On court, I feel so far away from my potential. Looking
at the tour, I'm seeing girls having their best results at 25, 26, so I feel
like in four years I will be where I'd like to be. But obviously that doesn't
take away from everything I've done right now. But I'm just eager to improve
and get better."
Gauff turned pro in 2018, at the age of 15. The American is poised to rise further, with potentially 15 more years of professional tennis.
