Australian tennis maverick Nick Kyrgios was embroiled in another social media argument in response to a comment on X, calling him out for gloating about his influence on the sport.
But Kyrgios has been the center of attention on social media where he's been extremely vocal, often engaging in endless feuds with tennis fans, pundits, and former players. In a new development, Kyrgios was caught in the mire when a journalist put him on the spot in the aftermath of the Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz epic final in Cincinnati.
The match garnered massive adulation as the world's top two players battled each other in close to four hours of breathtaking tennis. Kyrgios acknowledged his admiration of both players but differed with the opinion that he was not 'good for tennis'.
"They are also good for the game (Djokovic and Alcaraz)? Haha I never said they weren’t. You are lying to yourself if you think I’m not good for the game….. could give you a few reasons….. leading episodes on Netflix to get tennis back on the map…. Shall I go on? I love Alcaraz and ND."
