Just few hours before he will leave to London to prepare for the 2022 Wimbledon, Rafael Nadal found time to play a golf tournament.
Casper Ruud joked about preparing for Wimbledon by playing golf, but it seems that the 22-time Grand Slam champion chose this type of preparation for the third Grand Slam of the season as he attended a golf tournament in Spain and as in everything he does, Rafael Nadal was quite successful after day one.
It's no secret that Rafael Nadal loves golf and he loves it so much that even before one of the most important tournaments of the season, he finds time to play golf and even be quite successful. After the first day of the tournament, the Spaniard finished fourth what is a great result.
"What was done in Barcelona (medical treatment for the foot) is not a 100% immediate thing, but changes are noticeable, I have noticed them, strange sensations, my joint pain has decreased. My intention is to play Wimbledon, travel to London on Monday."
