Former ATP world number one Roger Federer may be retired from playing professionally, but his newest adventures are very much aligned with tennis.

Federer has been the face of the sport for many years and his unrivaled charisma and personality are something many fans relate to. The 20-time Grand Slam champion is busy honoring his ambassadorial commitment with the Japanese clothing company Uniqlo while also growing his brand.

The Swiss legend was in New York to partner with popular Irish fashion designer Jonathan Anderson during the unveiling of his sports-inspired fashion which will be sold by Uniqlo. In addition, the 41-year-old was also launching his latest series 'Around the World with Roger Federer'

The series is centered around art, tennis, and culture with Federer taking the leading role of inspiring the new generation of tennis stars and supporting the community. Federer met invited junior tennis players and fans during the event and shared tips on how to hit a two-handed backhand.

"We had a fun day in NYC as we unveiled my latest collaboration with JW Anderson and Uniqlo, and launched the first 'Around the World with Roger Federer' event series. It was so nice to interact with all who came especially with some inspiring kids on a tennis court that was beautifully designed by kaws."

Although opponents targeted Federer's backhand more frequently being his uncomfortable wing, something his great rival Rafael Nadal did to greater effect on clay, Federer transformed his one-hander under the tutelage of Croatian former player Ivan Ljubicic who coached him to win three Grand Slams.

Federer retired from tennis in 2022 where he played his only match of the year at the Laver Cup, partnering his rival and good friend Nadal. Since then, he has been actively working on his personal brand, designing apparel, doing charity for his foundation in Africa and even watching Wimbledon live as a spectator in the Royal Box.
