Rafael Nadal has been an ambassador of grit on a tennis court and an inspiration to many youngsters because of his pure dedication to the sport.

Nadal has won 22 Grand Slam titles, of which 14 of those were won on beloved red clay at Roland Garros. He has won over 30 Masters titles and earned over $100 million in prize money in his career.

The Spaniard is considered among the greatest tennis players to ever pick up a racket and even after turbulent 2023, his legacy is solidified. Currently on an injury hiatus, Nadal is expected to return to action at the 2024 Australian Open.

The 37-year-old's long and glorious career will be illustrated in the "Pequeño y Grande" series, a series that profiles the careers of famous faces as children and how they realized their dreams in a Spanish-language children's book.

Nadal, who is featured on the cover of the book, is portrayed in many faces beginning from the roots of his career, while being coached by his uncle Toni Nadal, before going on to lift his first Grand Slam crown at the Roland Garros.

The book is rated and recommended for those aged 5 and above and also delves into Nadal's life outside the court, where he battles his own fears (even though he is one of the most resilient and fearless competitors on the court).

The producer of the series, Alba Editorial, notes that Nadal is a "great reference" for the younger generation and expounds on the synopsis of the book. Nadal's book has been written by María Isabel Sánchez Vegara and illustrated by Ro Ledesma.

"The stories are written with rhymed texts and accompanied by beautiful illustrations. Designed for girls and boys ages 5 or 6 and up, each book is illustrated by a different artist. Stories always begin with a boy who has a dream. The objective is to show new references, inspiring figures with whom they can identify."
