The latest ATP Rankings at the very top didn't record any movement, so Carlos Alcaraz maintained a gap of 20 points over Novak Djokovic for the World No. 1 spot.

Alcaraz, 20, is unlikely to remain there in the next couple of weeks as the stars of men's tennis descend on New York to compete for the 2023 US Open. The Spaniard is defending 2,000 points after his scintillating title win last September.

So he'll drop those points in the live rankings, and cannot really add up more than 2,000 points, which means he'll get to the same number of maximum points - 9,815. Djokovic, 36, who is just 20 points behind Alcaraz can only gain points since he did not play last year's US Open.

The Serbian star will reclaim the No. 1 ranking by virtue of winning his first-round match on Monday against Alexandre Muller, as he'll have 9,840 points, which will be more than Alcaraz's maximum total of 9,815 (by defending the US Open).

The rest of the world's Top 20 remain the same as neither of those players were involved in competition in the final week before the US Open. Croatia's Borna Coric looked to make up for lost points in Cincinnati, and he rose six spots to 23rd following his run to the semifinal in Winston-Salem.

Czech Jiri Lehecka makes his Top 30 debut after his runner-up finish at the ATP 250 event in North Carolina, while Sebastian Baez who won his first hard-court title at the weekend vaults to No. 32, but a little too late to get seeded for the US Open.

Botic van de Zandschulp exits the world's Top 60 after a run of one win from his last nine matches, dropping to 65th, while Swiss Marc-Andrea Huesler lost 10 spots after failing to defend his semifinal points at Winston-Salem from last year. The lefty is on the precipice of a Top 100 exit. You can visit our dedicated Rankings page to check on all the movers this past week.
