Carlos Alcaraz will compete in his fourth US Open main draw, and his second outfit has been revealed.

Alcaraz is one of the most marketable athletes in the world after a meteoric rise in the last two seasons to become the new young face of men's tennis.

It's not a surprise in the slightest that his clothing sponsor, Nike, is leveraging his soaring popularity to promote his latest athletic tennis apparel, which he will wear at the 2024 US Open.

The fourth and final Grand Slam of the season will take place at Flushing Meadows in New York City, where Alcaraz will be among the top four seeds in the tournament and undoubtedly one of the favorites.

His record at the Grand Slam level this year and in his young career has been phenomenal. He gobbled up the French Open and Wimbledon titles this season and is one of the quickest ATP players to attain four majors at the age of 21.

Once again, Nike has handpicked Alcaraz as a trendsetter when it comes to tennis fashion. There have been talks of creating specialized gear like some of the sport's icons who have endorsed the company's ensemble in the past.

A few months ago, the 21-year-old signed a multi-million-dollar deal with Nike, which will include his own logo. This is the clearest indication that he's a valuable asset and a walking billboard because his potential has no ceiling right now, and the company has recognized that.

Alcaraz is expected to have two outfit designs for this year's US Open, which he will alternate between day and night sessions. The first outfit was unveiled late last month, and just like last year, he will bring back the sleeves design.

His second outfit, for the night session, will also feature a sleeveless top, perfect for a high-intensity tennis match. It will be black with a prominent Nike logo on the chest in a pink and purple gradient.

The back of the top is probably made of a mesh panel as it is translucent, allowing Alcaraz freedom of movement and stretching. The Spaniard could be wearing full purple shorts, as can be seen from the second image, although this is not very clear.

Fans can expect to see Alcaraz in this new outfit during the exhibition doubles match, which will be part of US Open Fan Week on Wednesday, August 21st. He will team up with former World No. 1 Andre Agassi and take on Novak Djokovic and John McEnroe's team.

Alcaraz will then find out who he will face in the first round when the draw is released later next week. He lost his last two matches but left the Paris Olympics with a silver medal on his debut appearance.

In his only warm-up event on a hard court, he was beaten by Gael Monfils in Cincinnati. The Murcia native won his first Grand Slam at the 2022 US Open, so this tournament will always rekindle fond memories upon his return, but will he be the last man standing in 2024?
