"Alcaraz combines qualities of three greatest players of all time" - Mouratoglou on NextGen

Carlos Alcaraz has the qualities of the Big Three of Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal, according to Patrick Mouratoglou.
Alcaraz showed that he's capable of winning Grand Slam titles when he triumphed at the 2022 US Open. In 2023, the goals for the young Spaniard will be even bigger after becoming the youngest man to reach the World No. 1 spot.
Throughout this season, Alcaraz proved his qualities numerous times, and many started comparing him to members of the Big Three. While Nadal, Federer, and Djokovic are all unique, Mouratoglou managed to find all of these tennis greats in the teenager's game.
Mouratoglou spoke about the teenager in a feature for Tennis Majors. The French coach thinks that Alcaraz's game is closest to that of Federer because of his aggressive style.
"He combines the qualities of the three greatest players of all time. I think the one his game is closest to is Federer. Like him, he’s super aggressive and super creative, always trying to do something with the ball."
At the same time, Mouratoglou compared Alcaraz's counter-attacking capabilities to those of Djokovic, and he drew a similarity between the 19-year-old's spin and that of Nadal.
"The speed with which he is able to go from the back to the inside of the court, that’s pure Roger. At the same time, he has the counter-attacking qualities of Djokovic, and he can play long rallies with a lot of spin, like Nadal. To top it off, he serves very well for his size, and he returns very well."
"His game combines incredible power and an incredible touch. Normally, we have one or the other. He has both. And I think it’s unheard of at this point. In the same way that I’ve never seen a 19-year-old player so complete."
