2023 Stuttgart Open ATP Prize Money & Points Overview

The 2023 Stuttgart Open, also known as the BOSS Open, will be held from June 12 to 18th as an ATP 250 event in Stuttgart, Germany.

The tournament, which has a rich history dating back to 1916, has evolved over the years, transitioning from clay to grass courts in 2015. This shift has added a unique charm to the event, making it a perfect precursor to the Wimbledon Championships.

In 2023, the Stuttgart Open promises an exciting lineup of players. The defending champion, Matteo Berrettini, who triumphed over Andy Murray in 2022, is set to return. Other notable entrants include Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, Hubert Hurkacz, and Nick Kyrgios, who is making a much-anticipated comeback.

Moreover, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Zverev, both accepted a wild card for the tournament making the fight for a share of 718,410€ in prize money even more interesting, with the winner receiving €115,105 and 250 ATP points.

The runner-up earns €85,215 and 150 points. The semi-finalists receive €63,340 and 90 points, while quarter-finalists get €37,030 and 45 points. Players reaching the round of 16 earn €21,770 and 20 points, and those who lose already in the first round receive €12,790, but no points.

The Stuttgart Open had a unique tradition of awarding the tournament champions a Mercedes car, in addition to the prize money. The tradition started under the sponsorship of Mercedes-Benz, but the tournament was already rebranded under the new sponsor, BOSS.
