The 2023 Dallas Open will take place from February 6th to 12th, and the prize money and points distributed at the event will certainly motivate the talented field of players.
This ATP 250 event will offer significant prize money and points to the players who advance at the event. Out of $737,170 distributed at the tournament, the winner will receive 250 points and $112,125 in prize money, while the runner-up will earn 150 points and $65,405.
Players who make it to the semi-finals will receive 90 points and $38,450, while quarter-finalists will earn 45 points and $22,280. Players who make it to the second round will receive 20 points and $12,940, and those who lose in the first round will receive 0 points and $7,905.
The top seed for the tournament is expected to be Taylor Fritz, who is currently the highest-ranked American player on the ATP Tour. He will be followed by his compatriot Frances Tiafoe and other US players John Isner, Brandon Nakashima, Jenson Brooksby, Marcos Giron, Mackenzie McDonald, and J.J. Wolf.
The tournament organizers also gave several wildcard entries, including Jack Sock and Liam Krall, who will have the opportunity to compete against the top players in the field.
In 2022, Reilly Opelka won the trophy at the Dallas Open, beating Jenson Brooksby in the final of the competition. On top of that, all four semi-finalists were Americans.
