Former ATP player James Blake believes Coco Gauff can dominate the games of tennis for many years to come in the future.

There's not a single doubt that Gauff is one of the biggest talents in recent years. She has shown her potential already at the 2019 Wimbledon when she defeated Venus Williams in the first round and has continued to show it ever since.

In 2023, she started the season with eight consecutive wins, winning the 2023 ASB Classic in Auckland, before making her way to Melbourne, Australia, where she won the first three matches as well.

After eight matches player, the American was on an eight-match winning streak and a 16-sets winning streak, as she was seemingly unbeatable in the early weeks of the season.

However, then, she took on Jelena Ostapenko, an opponent that proved to be too strong for her. However, despite the recent disappointment, former player James Blake called Gauff a superstar on and off the court in a post on social media.

Always love Coco Gauff. She is a superstar on and off the court. Can't wait to continue watching her progress and establish herself at the top of the game for years. I have the highest of hopes for her. Can’t wait to sit back and enjoy her hall of fame career.

Blake is not alone in that belief, as many have thought the same thing about Gauff for a long time. Emerging as a super talent, Gauff has progressed to become a Top 10 player, a former number one doubles player, and a Grand Slam contender.

Despite losing in the fourth round of the 2023 Australian Open, the youngster will have many more tries to become a Grand Slam champion in her career, and it's clear that she'll certainly be the major winner one day.
