From October 31st until November 6th, the final ATP Masters 1000 event of the year will be played in France as the 2022 Paris Masters draw features the best players.

For some, it's the last event of the season; for others, it's a preparation for the upcoming ATP Finals, and for some, it's a fight for one of the remaining spots in the year-end event where only eight players qualify.

There will certainly be no pressure on Carlos Alcaraz, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic, who have all already secured their places at the 2022 ATP Finals in Turin.

All three will begin their Paris Masters campaign in the second round, as they received a BYE in the first round. The first-seeded Alcaraz will await Aslan Karatsev or Yoshihito Nishioka.

On the opposite side of the draw, the second-seeded Rafael Nadal will wait for compatriot Roberto Bautista Agut or Tommy Paul.

The Spaniard's biggest rival, Novak Djokovic, was drawn in the same half, and so already, before the tournament started, fans know that these two wouldn't battle in the final. The Serbian is the sixth seed, and he will meet Diego Schwartzman or Maxime Cressy in the second round.

Casper Ruud and Stefanos Tsitsipas also secured their places at the ATP Finals earlier this year, so they won't be under pressure in the second round of the 2022 Paris Masters.

The Norwegian will start against Alex Molcan or Richard Gasquet, while the Greek will face the winner of the match beteween Brandon Nakashima and Daniel Evans.

One of the players fighting for the spot in the Top 8 is Andrey Rublev, who will kick off his tournament against John Isner or a qualifier. Felix Auger-Aliassime can also begin against a qualifier or Alexander Bublik.
