Coco Gauff further extended her deal with New Balance. She's the most high-profile player sponsored by the brand on the WTA Tour.

After Roger Federer's retirement, Gauff became the only active tennis player with her own signature shoe. The 18-year-old American signed her first contract with New Balance already four years ago, and after her incredible success as a teenager, she extended the deal.

Only recently, a new colorway of Gauff's signature shoe, New Balance Coco CG1, became available. Her signature shoes are in high demand, and that's also one of the reasons why her deal was extended further.

Gauff, as a creative person, is obviously delighted that she gets plenty of space to express herself in her collaboration with New Balance.

"I couldn't ask for a more committed team that is forward-thinking in their approach and match my love for the game with their passion for quality and creativity.
"New Balance has supported me since my junior tennis years and has been by my side for the biggest moments of my career. The team feels like family, so it was an easy decision to extend with a team that has embraced me as a person and genuinely works to help bring out my best."

New Balance, on the other hand, is happy to have such an influential player as the face of their brand in the tennis world. Evan Zeder, who is the head of tennis sports marketing for New Balance, spoke about Gauff after extending their deal.

"We've grown from seeing a bright future in 2018 to working with one of the most dynamic, creative and thoughtful individuals for the long haul. Coco's drive, passion and positivity embody our partnership and the New Balance brand."
"We are excited to continue to work with Coco to deliver innovative products that elevate her performance on court, and at the same time celebrate her off court style and influence, to inspire the next generation."
