Novak Djokovic has ranked the highest from all tennis players on the annual list of the most marketable athletes.

Every year, SportsPro releases a list of the most marketable athletes in the world. Last year, Serena Williams ranked second behind Cristiano Ronaldo, but the American is not an active player anymore.

Ronaldo also dropped on the list, to place number 27, as his biggest rival, Lionel Messi, took the top spot. However, this year, there were no tennis players in the Top 10, as the Argentinian was followed by LeBron James, Alex Morgan, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Megan Rapinoe, Mikael Shiffrin, Lewis Hamilton, Simone Biles, Kylian Mbappe, and Max Verstappen.

Yet, right after the Top 10, multiple tennis players found their spot. Novak Djokovic, who was the highest-ranked tennis player placed 11th, getting 87.96 out of 100 points. The Serb got 27.26 out of 35 for his brand strength, 41.97 out of 45 for total addressable market, and 18.73 out of 20 for economics.

Right behind the 24-time Grand Slam champion was the teenage phenom and the 2023 US Open winner, Coco Gauff. The young American was only one hundredth behind the Serbian, receiving 87.95 points.

But there were multiple other tennis players in the Top 50. Naomi Osaka placed 14th on the list, and current world no. 1 on the WTA Tour, Aryna Sabalenka ranked 18th. Emma Raducanu, who beat the majority of her colleagues in 2022 on the list, placed 21st in 2023.

Rafael Nadal is the next tennis player behind the young Brit. The experienced Spaniard was ranked 41st, only two places ahead of Czech veteran Petra Kvitova, who placed 43rd on the list.

One more player made it to the Top 50 on the list, as Ons Jabeur ranked 50th, with the likes of Carlos Alcaraz, Iga Swiatek, and Elena Rybakina not making it to the Top 50.
