Iga Swiatek delivered yet another bagel to her opponent when she defeated Donna Vekic 6-3, 3-6, 6-0 in the 2022 San Diego Open final.

The young Pole is the most dominant player of this season and her rankings prove it as she's far ahead of her competition. Her final victory at the 2022 San Diego Open was already her 64th this season and there seems to be no one who can stop Iga Swiatek in 2022.

However, despite her very likeable personality, there's one thing that fans hate to see her doing and that's waving arms at the net. She did it a few times already this season and hen she did a few weeks ago at the US Open, John McEnroe discussed if it is legal, when he said:

"I don’t think that’s legal…that is a little bit below the belt. I don’t think Swiatek has to do that. She’s so good it seems…but she’ll learn. She’s 21," said John McEnroe.

Many fans joined him after the final match at the 2022 San Diego Open, where she used this tactics again, when they stated:

"Listen I like Iga, but waving your arms to distract your opponents while they're hitting is shitty and she keeps doing it."

"Swiatek needs to cut out that distraction stuff. Such a bad and embarrassing look for her."

"Yes hindrance! Very disappointing as #1 and a world wide role model. This is so unnecessary!"

"I haven't seen a top wta player doing this kinda crap... Poor sportsmanship, I think this is what her sports psychologist might have asked her do, to distract her opponents.. Cheap Tricks won't work for long."

It seems t hat the young Pole is aware that it's not the best idea to do this during a tennis match as she apologized to Donna Vekic afterwards and majority of her fans probably hope she won't do it again since she can win also without it.

"This is the best prize/trophy ever! Thank you San Diego for an amazing (cloudy) week and this unique vibe. I love it here. And congrats Donna Vekic for your amazing run! And sorry for waving my hands at the net."
