After winning the first-round match against a very inspired Linda Noskova and winning the first set against Aliaksandra Sasnovich, it seemed that 2022 Roland Garros will be a successful tournament for Emma Raducanu.

After retiring against Bianca Andreescu in Rome, Emma Raducanu came to Paris refreshed and it appeared that she might be going deep at the 2022 Roland Garros. However, she was stopped by Aliaksandra Sasnovich already in the second round of the tournament.

Although she struggled with unforced errors, it was a quite good performance by the young British player in the first set of the match against Sasnovich. In 46 minutes, she won 6-3 and was looking to move to the third round of the 2022 Roland Garros.

However, in the second set, it was mostly the great performance of the Belarusian that mirrored the result. Sasnovich hit 19 winners and only 4 unforced errors, while her opponent couldn't hit more than 4 winners and made 7 unforced errors what resulted in a swift 6-1 win in just 35 minutes.

In the final set, Raducanu added even more unforced errors as she made 12 this time and hit only 4 winners what resulted in another 6-1 set for Sasnovich and overall 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 victory.
