Four-time Grand Slam champion and former world number 1 Naomi Osaka is going through a difficult period in her career.

Currently, the Japanese player is very far away from the Top 10 of the WTA Rankings, a spot to which she was used in her career, but she keeps fighting on and off the court. Osaka became an ambassador for the mental health of athletes in the previous months when she openly spoke about the pressure that is put on them, especially during press conferences.

While dealing with her own issues, the former world number 1 dropped out of the Top 50 of the WTA Rankings as she started to find her way back to the top. Without a doubt, Osaka is one of the best players on the WTA Tour.

In the last three seasons, she's won 45 matches and lost only 12 while winning two Grand Slam titles. But playing few matches in the last three seasons, cost her a lot of ranking points, and therefore she experienced a major drop in the WTA Rankings.

And while she's considered to be on a downfall by many, there's no doubt about Osaka's qualities, which she continues to prove at every tournament she joins. In her latest tweet, she left a message for people who don't want to see her performing well.

"I just want to say if you fw me thank you. To be honest there’s probably a lot of people praying on my downfall but I don’t really feel it cause the love overpowers everything. Thank you."

Osaka thanked her followers, but also mentioned people that don't want her to succeed. Her message was really powerful, as she says "love overpowers everything." There's no doubt that while she can prove her haters wrong with words, she can do the same thing also on the tennis court.
