Iga Swiatek destroyed yet another opponent and most probably, she will never win a tournament in a more dominant style than she did in Doha.

The young Pole entered the 2023 Qatar Open as the first-seeded player and a defending champion. On her way to the final, she lost only two games, as she defeated Danielle Collins and Veronika Kudermetova, while Belinda Bencic withdrew from their quarterfinal clash.

In the final, the world no. 1 took on the second-seeded Jessica Pegula, who also played a very good tournament and eliminated the likes of Jelena Ostapenko and Maria Sakkari en route to the final.

However, despite the American's best efforts, she wasn't able to match the level of intensity and accuracy that her opponent was able to produce. Once again, Swiatek showed her incredible dominance and destroyed also her final opponent.

In the first set, the 21-year-old struggled on her serve, being broken twice. Yet, she broke her opponent three times, and that was enough to win the first set 6-3 in just 38 minutes.

Swiatek was even more dominant in the second set. She immediately broke Pegula's serve and after two more holds and two more breaks, she was serving to win the tournament.

Confirming her dominance, Swiatek won the match 6-3, 6-0 in an hour and 5 minutes, while losing only 5 games on her way to the title.
