Emma Raducanu was supposed to take on Serena Williams today in Cincinnati however the match was pushed back to Tuesday due to scheduling.

It comes as a great disappointment to many fans that the match between Raducanu and Williams has been pushed back. According to a spokesperson of the event, the change occurred due to a number of factors related to scheduling.

It's unclear what that really means other than the match will be now staged on Tuesday. Such an abrupt change never goes down well with the fans this didn't either. It caused quite an uproar with many fans voicing their frustration on social media. We bring you some of the things they said.

One fan wrote:

“This is so disappointing. After spending HUNDREDS of dollars watching Serena, the schedule gets changed the night before? Been coming to watch Serena Williams play in Cincinnati since the mid 2000’s. Watching the GOAT play one last time would have been a dream come true."

Another added:

"Came in from out of town to see her play. Now we won’t get that chance. I’m heartbroken.”

And one more:

"I am pretty peeved off. I bought tickets and now had to pay 3x as much for Tuesday tickets. I doubt my Monday tickets will be able to resell. There better be some reimbursement.”

Fans are speculating that the change was made so that the event could profit more from a higher ticket price as Tuesday ones are more expensive than the Monday ones. If so, that would be a rather disappointing thing from the event but some would say it's just business.
