Vogue came to London this week for the first time, and Aryna Sabalenka graced the red carpet in its second annual Vogue World event.
It was packed with celebrities from fashion and the arts in the one-night-only performance inside the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Sabalenka stashed away her Nike pink dress for a sleeveless bodycon dress that was designed by 16Arlington’s Marco Capaldo, which was gleaming in bright silver.
Sabalenka shared snapshots from the event where glitterati took part in the entertainment extravaganza in glamorous looks. She was the only tennis star from the current roster who was present at the inaugural event in London.
"Had the best time at #VogueWorld : London tonight! Thank you @marco.capaldo and @16arlington for the most beautiful look ✨. Thank you @edward_enninful and #AnnaWintour for inviting me to experience this incredible show."
Sabalenka is fresh from reaching a second Grand Slam final this season, losing to Coco Gauff in the 2023 US Open final a week ago. The Belarusian star was captured by video cameras in the locker room in the aftermath of that loss smashing her racket in frustration.
But it was alleged that the incident was staged, as a separate camera crew could be seen filming Sabalenka, believed to be part of the second season of the tennis docuseries Break Point on Netflix. Nonetheless, Sabalenka has had the best year of her tennis career.
The 25-year-old from Minsk became just the second Belarusian in WTA history to reach the World No. 1 ranking, ending Iga Swiatek's 75-week reign. Sabalenka also became a Grand Slam singles champion for the first time at this year's Australian Open.
With less than two months of the regular tennis season remaining, Sabalenka is on course to finish the year with the most prize money of any player, having earned over $7 million this season.
