The 2025 Paris Masters is the last ATP Masters 1000 tournament of the season, so the last chance for players to earn big when it comes to prize money and ranking points.
This year's final Masters event will run from October 27th to November 2nd. Although the Paris Masters is one of the traditional tournaments in the calendar, this year's edition will be special.
The tournament moved from Paris-Bercy's Accor Arena to a new venue. For the first time, the Paris Masters will be held at the La Défense Arena, a venue that opened in 2017. The construction of the stadium cost €360 million.
It marks a new chapter for the Paris Masters, but even though the tournament will be held at a new venue, the motivation to succeed stays the same for the players, and that's the prize money and points on offer. In total, players will split €6,128,940 at the 2025 Paris Masters.
The first champion at the La Défense Arena will take home €946,610 and 1,000 ATP ranking points. In 2024, Alexander Zverev won the title in Paris (and hit the practice court immediately after lifting the trophy). The German player received €919,075 for his win last year, so this year's €946,610 marks an increase.
The defeated finalist will also earn more than last year. Ugo Humbert was the surprising finalist in 2024. He received €501,880 for his efforts, but if he were to repeat his run this year, he would receive €516,925 and 650 ranking points.
Holger Rune and Karen Khachanov were the losing semi-finalists in 2024. Both took home €274,425. This year, the losing semi-finalists will receive 400 points and €282,650. Players will receive more money than last year for each round, including the quarter-finals.
The defeated quarter-finalists will receive €154,170, more than last year's €149,685. The four players who lose in the last eight stage will also receive 200 ranking points for their efforts. In 2024, those were Alex de Minaur, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Grigor Dimitrov, and Jordan Thompson.
Players who reach the third round will grow their bank accounts by €82,465 and their ATP ranking total by 100 points. Those who lose in the second round will receive €44,220 and 50 ranking, and even the first-round losers won't go home empty-handed.
Just for taking part in the Paris Masters, the players will receive 10 ranking points and €24,500, which is almost as much as the prize money received by the WTA 250 champions.
Although Zverev will be the defending champion in Paris, there will be, once again, two clear favorites to win the event. Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have yet to win a trophy at the Paris Masters, and while they might be sad to leave the old legendary venue without a title, they can now start the new chapter at the La Défense Arena with a trophy run.
