It wasn't a good final at the 2022 Halle Open for Daniil Medvedev who lost in the second final in a row after returning from an injury.
Last week, the young Russian lost to Tim Van Rijthoven in the final in 's-Hertogenbosch, this week, he played another final at the 2022 Halle Open. However, the start of the match wasn't as Daniil Medvedev would have imagined it.
Medvedev struggled on his serve and lost the first five games of the match before losing the first set 1-6. He also lost the second set after losing his first serve in the set but it was obvious that he was frustrated during the match.
At one point, he shouted towards his box where his coach, Gilles Cervara and his Daria Medvedeva were seated. After Medvedev shouted, his coach stood up and left the court with the camera following him to the exit.
