World number 1, Daniil Medvedev was not allowed to play the 2022 Wimbledon and the Russian would be certainly one of the favourites if it was otherwise.

After solid performances throughout the tournament, Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios secured their final spots at the 2022 Wimbledon. Yet, Daniil Medvedev doesn't seem to be bothered by the tournament at all.

Last week, the Russian enjoyed some grass, but not on a tennis court. He played golf. Now, during the 2022 Wimbledon final, he posted a video on his Instagram profile which showed all of his trophies and the television which was surprisingly not showing the Wimbledon final.

Instead, world number 1 was watching the Formula 1 race in Austria. Previously, he stated that he will play where he will be allowed to do so and it seems that he focuses only on his tennis and blocks out everything else.

"If I can play, I'm going to be happy to play in Wimbledon. I love this tournament. If I cannot play -- well, I'm going to try to play other tournaments and prepare well for next year if I have the chance to play."
