Novak Djokovic kept his spirits high during the post-match interview at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships, using his loss to joke with his son.

Djokovic's kids have grown up quite a bit while he's been competing for trophies on the ATP Tour. His son, Stefan, is nine years old, and his daughter, Tara, is six, and both have picked up the tennis racket at times.

His son is particularly interested in the sport, and the 37-year-old admitted many times that he won't push his kids into it. Young Stefan was shown smiling as Djokovic addressed his box after his loss to Carlos Alcaraz, once again showing how emotional he gets when he has to talk about his family.

"To my wife: I love you. Thank you for supporting me. Thank you for being here. To my wonderful children, thank you for bringing the smile to my face every single day."

"I keep on tearing up every year when I look at them at the closing ceremony. I’m so thankful to be the father of these two little angels."

The Serbian also snuck in a bit of life advice to his son, telling him that life is about many things and not only tennis, which might as well be a hint that he's likely contemplating his own spot in sport in the coming months.

"They’re starting to love tennis more and more. I don’t know if I have the nerve to keep going with my coaching career with my son. There are a lot of beautiful things in life.. but if you really wish to keep going, I’ll be there for you."

Having another Djokovic in the sport would be certainly a treat for many tennis fans, especially since there will very likely be another Alcaraz, as Carlos' brother, Jaime, has incredible talent for the sport.
