WATCH: Alcaraz And Krejcikova Enjoy Champions' Dance During Wimbledon Dinner

Carlos Alcaraz was very worried about having to dance with the Ladies' Singles champion at the 2024 Wimbledon Champions Ball, but he handled it as a pro.

As usual, the winners of the Gentlemen's and Ladies' Wimbledon Singles events attend the Champions' Dinner, during which they dance together. This year, Barbora Krejcikova won the Ladies' Singles event, while Carlos Alcaraz won the Gentlemen's Singles event, so the honor of dancing fell upon them.

Asked about his dancing skills after the win in the final match over Novak Djokovic, the 21-year-old blushed and admitted that he's not very good at dancing. Several popular dances have origins in Spain, but according to his reaction, Alcaraz is far better at swinging his racket than his hips.

Still, the Spaniard held his own pretty well, judging by footage that appeared online showing the duo dancing together at the ball. It was a short dancing sequence, but Alcaraz could sneak in a little twirl for Barbora Krejcikova as they both laughed during the dance to the tune of Dua Lipa's 'Dance the Night', also known as the 'Barbie' soundtrack.

It was a nice moment for the champions because we mostly see them on the tennis court in a very tense environment. It's great to see them in a more relaxed environment, celebrating the fruits of their labor after a very demanding two weeks.

Both of them played amazing tennis over the fortnight to find themselves in the final and deservedly won the trophies. Dancing might not be their favorite activity, but they handled it as a sport.

Now, it will be back to swinging rackets because the Paris Olympics are coming up, and the way they have played recently, both will be among the favorites to bring some medal for their countries, having won at Roland Garros before.
