Tsitsipas Posting On Twitter While Playing Match At the Same Time: How Did He Do It

Stefanos Tsitsipas proved that he can do two things at the same time at the 2023 Stuttgart Open, or can he?

The Greek is the first seed at the 2023 Stuttgart Open, the first in a series of ATP tournaments leading up to Wimbledon. After a bye in the first round, Tsitsipas met Richard Gasquet in the second round of the tournament.

But the story isn't about forehands or backhands or the H2H of the two, competing for a quarterfinal spot against home player Jan-Lennard Struff. It's about a very interesting moment that surprised tennis fans.

The match started at 5:10 PM local time in Stuttgart and all eyes were watching how the French veteran will handle talented Greek. And then, at 5:30 PM local time, Tsitsipas suddenly posted on Twitter, reminding his fans that they should not forget to stop to listen and love.

"Don't forget to stop and see and listen and love. Because one day this will all be gone and so will we."

The fact that Tsitsipas posted on Twitter wouldn't be surprising, as he generally likes to express his opinions on the platform. However, what was surprising was the fact that he tweeted while playing the match.

Since tennis players are not allowed to use their phones during matches, many were wondering, how is it possible that the Greek player tweeted, while fans could see him compete in Stuttgart.

Well, the answer is quite simple, and there are actually a few possible answers. The first one is that Tsitsipas could have easily scheduled the tweet, option which is offered by many platforms today.

Another possibility is that someone else is taking care of the Greek's Twitter account. It's not really rare in the world of sports, that with busy schedules, athletes often have people who take care of their social media accounts, usually family members or close friends.

Even despite possible explanations, the fact that Tsitsipas' account tweeted while he was playing a match at the 2023 Stuttgart Open surprised many tennis fans and brought smiles to many users on the platform.
