It's all going Team World's way at the 2023 Laver Cup, as they now lead 10-2 against Team Europe after Day 2.

The first day of the 2023 Laver Cup in Vancouver was perfect for Team World, as they built a 4-0 lead. It included some controversy, but players seemingly forgot that by Day 2, as another fight was on.

It all started with a match between Europe's Andrey Rublev and World's Taylor Fritz, and the American proved to be the better player in the match. Fritz won comfortably 6-2, 7-6(3), to increase the lead already to 6-0.

After that, Casper Ruud secured the first two points for Team Europe, when the Norwegian managed to bead Tommy Paul 7-6(6), 6-2, and decrease the team's deficit to only four points.

But Frances Tiafoe then showed that he thrives in a team environment, beating Europe's Hubert Hurkacz in two sets 7-5, 6-3, and increasing the World's lead once again, this time to 8-2.

The last match of the day, as always, was a double meeting between Europe's Hubert Hurkacz and Gael Monfils, against World's Felix Auger-Aliassime and Ben Shelton. Once again, the American-Canadian duo succeeded, increasing the lead even further.

They won 7-5, 6-4, increasing the team's leap to 10-2 ahead of Day 3. On the last day of the competition, each match awards three points, meaning that Team Europe will need to win all three matches if they want to win, otherwise, it will be second consecutive World's victory, and the team looks pumped for that.

"It’s amazing, when you play with a guy who serves and returns like Felix, is as athletic as him, and goes back for the overhead as strong as him, it’s a fun time. We call him Laver Cup Felix because he turns into something special this week, just glad I got to share the court with him at least once."
