Novak Djokovic recently withdrew from the ATP 1000 event in Montreal and it seems that tournament in Cincinnati and also the 2022 US Open may follow soon.

Because of the country's vaccination rules, Novak Djokovic won't be allowed to enter the United States the same way he wasn't allowed to enter Canada. However, many tennis players back the Serbian and they are trying to show that the rules don't make sense in their opinion. One of those players is John Millman who shared his opinion on Twitter, stating:

"Thought of the day… I could be covid positive and fly into the States, no questions asked because I’m vaccinated. But someone who has recovered from covid, is now covid negative but hasn’t been vax’d is denied entry.. I know there are border laws but help me understand.."

Another tennis player, Dustin Brown didn't seem to agree with what his Australian colleague wrote and so he explained his point of view:

"Every Country Just Has Their Own Rules… Why Can I Walk On The Street In Germany With A Beer, But I Cant In Other Countries? Because Its Their Rules…"

Later, also American tennis player, Reilly Opelka joined the discussion. He used Brown's metaphor but added names of Tennys Sandgren, who is the US citizen but is also not vaccinated, and Novak Djokovic.

"But there are some players (sandgren) that can walk on the street with a beer in the same country that others (novak) can’t."
