The second part of the first season of Netflix's Break Point will air in June as we'll get a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes.
This time, it will be about last year's Wimbledon including Nick Kyrgios's run to the final and the US Open. Break Point has an interesting storyline earlier in the year with the Netflix Curse as players that appeared in the show were losing early at Grand Slams. The second part of the show will premier in June right before Wimbledon so perhaps we see the apparent curse in the works again.
The TV show was an interesting way to present a side of tennis that most tennis fans don't really know. It had a positive impact on the players who took part in terms of social media following so the participants should probably brace for another influx of followers. Despite some unfavourable reviews also from a current player, the show was renewed for another season.
This second part of the first season will show us how Wimbledon and the US Open unfolded with Nick Kyrgios's story probably being the most interesting to viewers. It was the first time he made it to a Grand Slam final and being able to see how it looked behind the scenes will be interesting.
The US Open will also show how Ons Jabuer handled her run to the final where Iga Swiatek proved better as well as Frances Tiafoe's crazy show that saw him almost advance to the final. Other participants like Taylor Fritz and Maria Sakkari will also be featured.
The retirement of Serena Williams will also be part of the show as we will see what it looked like from Ajla Tomljanovic's point of view who defeated her in the final match of her career.
The full list of players that will be featured in the second part includes Felix Auger-Aliassime, Paula Badosa, Matteo Berrettini, Taylor Fritz, Ons Jabeur, Thanasi Kokkinakis, Nick Kyrgios, Casper Ruud, Aryna Sabalenka, Maria Sakkari, Sloane Stephens, Iga Swiatek, Frances Tiafoe, Ajla Tomljanovic, and Stefanos Tsitsipas with the last of those wanting to direct for the show in the future.
