Novak Djokovic will return to action for the first time in over a month in just under two weeks time at the Paris Masters, spotting an eye-catching new outfit.
Djokovic will play at this year's indoor swing for the first time in Paris-Bercy before heading to Turin to defend the season-ending ATP championships. Thanks to his apparel sponsors, Lacoste and ASICS, Djokovic will wear matching colors.
Lacoste, Djokovic's clothing sponsor, came up with light purple and red colors for the high-end fabric polo. This will be worn with red shorts. ASICS, Djokovic's footwear sponsor, will complement the colors with red shoes accentuated with Djokovic's and the company's logos in white.
The shoe's interior (padding) will be purple in color, matching the outer sole's color. This vibrant new look will certainly match Djokovic's energy as he looks to finish the season as the year-end No. 1. Djokovic is currently 500 points ahead of closest rival Carlos Alcaraz in the ATP Race.
The Serbian has won the Paris Masters a record six times, and he can extend his record even further by emerging as the champion and strengthening his grip at the top. With Alcaraz currently out of competition in Basel due to foot and back injuries, it means the gap of 500 points will remain at the start of the Paris Masters.
Djokovic's incredible record on indoor hard courts should give him a huge edge. He is likely to celebrate a few milestones in the next few days. Djokovic can extend his own record of the most titles in Paris-Bercy to seven, in addition to winning the ATP Finals for the seventh time - breaking a two-man tie with Roger Federer.
Djokovic will also tally a jaw-dropping 400 weeks as the ATP's No. 1, the most of any player in singles, which he'll likely achieve after the season finale in Turin. You can view Djokovic's newest outfit in the tweet below.
