Fans of Novak Djokovic will have the option to purchase a replica of the custom jacket he wore in the aftermath of his record-tying 24th Grand Slam singles title at the US Open.
Djokovic won his fourth US Open title last Sunday, by beating third-seeded Daniil Medvedev 6-3, 7-6, 6-3 in slightly over three hours. It was his third Grand Slam title win of 2023 - the fourth time in his career he's managed to pull off this feat.
In order to celebrate Djokovic's historic triumph, Lacoste - Djokovic's clothing sponsor - manufactured a special limited-edition white jacket with a '24' badge sewn up on the top right. This feature was meant to exhibit the number of Slams won by Djokovic. Djokovic and his entire entourage donned the jackets after the match was over.
Lacoste kept up its tradition of producing tailor-made garments to commemorate Djokovic's Grand Slam wins, having done so when he won his 22nd and 23rd titles at the Australian Open and French Open respectively. Many Djokovic fans have inquired about the availability of the custom jacket from the US Open on the company's pages.
The white-colored jacket has an open front. Subtle details include a Lacoste logo emblazoned in the '24' badge which is sewn with a green thread. The front also boasts a white metallic zipper and the second logo of the French company appears on the left.
Fans can buy the limited edition jacket which is priced at $119.00 on Jacketpop, with Lacoste expected to bring it on sale on their official website soon.
In the meantime, a limited-edition t-shirt is available on Lactoste's website and across stores in New York and Paris, and it boasts similar embroidery and a shadow print of Djokovic. In a post made on social media, the company is celebrating Djokovic's momentous occasion.
