21-time Grand Slam champion, Rafael Nadal lost to Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals of the 2022 Madrid Open, however, the Spaniard sees only positives despite the loss.
After winning in the previous two matches, Rafael Nadal lost in their third meeting with young Spaniard, Carlos Alcaraz. However, the 2022 Madrid Open was Rafa's first tournament after coming back from an injury, and so reaching quarterfinals and playing a high-quality match against his younger opponent shows good signs of recovery for the world number 4.
