Jack Sock and John Isner will compete in a pickleball event, joining the Pickleball Team Championship.

Pickleball is a very hot topic among many tennis fans as they are divided over tennis players either supporting the emerging sport or completely dismissing it as something not relevant for tennis players.

Many people have voiced their support for it, but there have also been cases of players showing disinterest in it. Venus Williams was one of the players who praised the sport, and many active or former tennis players are starting to appear in different pickleball events.

Only recently, John Isner showed his skills during a pickleball match, and the tall American is set to return to the pickleball court again, as even Naomi Osaka joined investors in the sport.

Sock and Isner are set to play in the Pickleball Team Championship, in which four teams will compete, each of which consists of three women and four men.

While the sport will continue to divide tennis fans, one thing is clear and that's the fact that many active and former tennis players found interest in pickleball, and will likely continue doing so.

That presents them with a unique opportunity to earn some extra money with their careers coming to an end, as the sport would likely benefit from a popular tennis player endorsing it by joining some tournaments.

At the moment, it seems to be only a matter of time before some lower-ranked active tennis player fully switches to pickleball, but for now, both tennis and pickleball fans can enjoy watching some of the best tennis players take part in occasional exhibition tournaments, which give them a chance to show their skills against pickleball pros.

On the other hand, professional pickleball players get a chance to see the talent level of tennis players, as they often manage to stay competitive with them in rallies.
