Andy Murray was asked about his retirement after being part of Roger Federer's retirement ceremony at the 2022 Laver Cup.

Murray retired from tennis once, but he has no immediate plans to do so again. His first retirement occurred a few years ago, but his last one will have to wait a little longer because the British player shut down the discussion once more during the Laver Cup.

Reporters in London questioned the other three members of the Big Four about their plans after Federer retired from tennis. Although it was almost the ideal way to say goodbye to a legend, Djokovic, Nadal, and Murray have no immediate intentions to call it quits.

Murray, in particular, has struggled to produce his best level in recent years. The British player was asked about his retirement also before, and it seems that after witnessing one of his rivals' retirement, his plans didn't change.

"I'm really not thinking about that right now. I certainly won't and don't deserve to have a send-off like that. Roger did deserve that night and it was super special having all of those guys there watching on the side of the court."

Murray isn't keeping a secret when it comes to his retirement. The British player also doesn't know when he will choose to retire from the sport.

The former ATP World No. 1 player is at the stage of his career when he knows he likely can't challenge for Grand Slam titles anymore, and he continues competing because he enjoys it.

That's why he can't say when his retirement will come. He will simply try to continue enjoying being on the tennis courts for as long as he possibly can.

"I probably would announce when I'm going to play my last event, but when that is I don't know.  I'm still playing competitive tennis and physically feeling good against top players."
