Andy Murray will never shake off retirement talk and he was once again asked after watching Roger Federer play at the Laver Cup.

Andy Murray retired from tennis once, but he has no immediate plans to do so again. His first retirement occurred a few years ago, but his last one will have to wait a little longer because the British player shut down the discussion of it once more during the Laver Cup.

Reporters questioned the other three members of the big four about their plans after Roger Federer retired from tennis in the early hours of Saturday morning in London. Although it was almost the ideal way to say goodbye to a legend, Djokovic, Nadal, and Murray have no immediate intentions to call it quits.

"I'm really not thinking about that right now," admitted Murray who doesn't feel like he is deserving of a send-off like that "I certainly won't and don't deserve to have a send-off like that. Roger did deserve that night and it was super special having all of those guys there watching on the side of the court."

Murray isn't shutting down talk about retirement out of spite but more so due to the unknown as he genuinely doesn't know when it will come:

"I probably would announce when I'm going to play my last event, but when that is I don't know. I'm still playing competitive tennis and physically feeling good against top players."
