Andy Murray is out of the Queen's Club event this week in London due to an abdominal strain sustained in Stuttgart on Sunday.

The British player strained his abdominal muscles in his final against Matteo Berrettini leaving him unable to serve properly in the final set. Murray was unsure how the injury occurred or what it means but after having scans today, Murray revealed he will be out of Queen's but still hopeful for Wimbledon:

"After having a scan this afternoon, an abdominal injury means I won’t be fit to compete at Queen’s this year. The tournament means a lot to me, and it’s disappointing not to compete, especially after playing some good matches on the grass already.”

Murray did not offer any commentary but reports from his team and people close to him are suggesting that he should be good to go for Wimbledon. He will try as best as he can to be fit because all of his work this year has been done simply for Wimbledon. Missing it would be a catastrophe.
