Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz are preparing to go toe-toe at the highly anticipated "Netflix Slam" next month, and the ticket prices for the event won't be cheap.

Nadal is persistently working to be match fit for the extravaganza that is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 3rd at the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino - which is a 12,000-seat multipurpose indoor arena.

It is a matchup pitting the greatest Spanish tennis player of all time against a man who is billed as his successor. The "Netflix Slam" is hosted by MGM Resorts International and will be accessible to the international audience on over-the-top streaming giant Netflix.

But for those who will be watching the action from close quarters, they have paid a mammoth $3,000 per ticket. The official ticketing partner for the Netflix Slam shows that these courtside tickets are all but sold out. Ticket sales opened as early as December 15th, 2023.

Watching the match from the lower tier of the stadium will cost anywhere between $500 to $1,500. The cheapest ticket that is currently on offer goes for $250, considered the standard, and will see one get a seat on the second tier of the stands.

Netflix's growing interest in tennis is evident with the successful production and streaming of the tennis docuseries Break Point, which was positively received by critics. The series delved into the lives of tennis professionals in a never-seen-before type of content.

At this moment, the organizers of this tennis match will hope the event will go ahead as scheduled despite growing fears that Nadal might miss this tournament because of an injury.

In fact, the 22-time Grand Slam champion had to withdraw from next week's Qatar Open so that he could get additional recovery time for the "Netflix Slam" and the upcoming first Masters tournament of 2024 in Indian Wells.

Nadal and Alcaraz won't be the only tennis match of the day, but Canada's Eugenie Bouchard and USA's Asia Muhammad are part of a mixed doubles match together with the Bryan Brothers.
