Dimitrov has been one of the best players on the ATP Tour in the past year. The Bulgarian has been playing at a Top 10 level for a while now, and this run at the Miami Open only proves that.
He'll have a chance to prove his worth against Alcaraz, who has looked every bit like a player who might lift the trophy this week. The Spaniard found himself lifting the trophy last week in Indian Wells, and he's kept up the good play in Miami.
He's going to face a player who beat him the last time they played, so there should be some added motivation for the 20-year-old Spaniard in this match.
