Carlos Alcaraz was thrilled to win his fourth Grand Slam at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships, but he doesn't want to set specific goals for himself.
The Spaniard has been on record admitting he wants to become the best tennis player in history. It was a very open admission by the Spaniard, who wasn't afraid to make it.
Generally, players shy away from admitting that due to the low likelihood of it happening. Alcaraz fully believes in himself, even though he has changed the framing of what he wants from his career in recent months.
After winning his fourth major by beating Novak Djokovic in the 2024 Wimbledon final, the Spaniard chose open-ended goals instead of setting quotas for himself. His goal is to improve as a player and try to win more.
He's not really thinking about a number right now but simply wants to enjoy this journey. At the end of it, he'll see what the number ends up being: 4 or 24.
"As I said I want to keep going and improving. Keep growing up. Try to keep winning.. that’s all that matters for me right now. I don’t know what my limit is. I don’t want to think about it."

He has exceeded all expectations so far, both of others and himself. He's really proud of the journey so far and hopes that the future brings even more success.
