The 2024 Stuttgart Open is the first ATP tournament in this year's grass-court season, and the entry list has been revealed.
This ATP 250 tournament will run from June 10th—less than 24 hours after the Roland Garros men's final—to 16th and is packed with 28 players in the singles field.
Since the tournament switched from clay to grass in 2015, the top-ranked stars have dominated the winner's podium, with Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Dominic Thiem, and Alexander Zverev each winning a title in that time.
Zverev will have the chance to add to his trophy cabinet when he returns on home soil as the top seed at the event. He will be joined by Hubert Hurkacz, the other member of the world's Top 10 who has signed up to play in Stuttgart.
Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton are currently competing for the USA's No. 1 men's player accolade this year and could play each other at this tournament.
Mercurial Kazakh Alexander Bublik had a great showing on grass last year and will be determined to begin his preparations on a high in Stuttgart. Last year's champion, Frances Tiafoe, will be the seventh seed.
Jan Lennard Struff fell short in last year's final but ended his title wait at the Munich Open this season. If he performs better at this year's Stuttgart Open, he is on course for a famous double celebration.
Young payers such as Jack Draper, Matteo Arnaldi, and Tomas Machac have all impressed on the ATP Tour this season and cannot be ruled out from contending for the title even without a seeding.
The tournament will allocate three players with a wild card entry, while four more players will battle through the qualifying rounds to reach the main draw. The entry list for the 2024 Stuttgart Open can be seen below.
