The 2023 Kitzbuhel Open is an ATP 250 tournament, running from July 31st to August 5th, offering 562,815€ in prize money.

After the grass-court swing is over, the red dirt lovers are happy to play on the clay courts again. There are multiple tournaments offering it, but none is located in such setting as the 2023 Kitzbuhel Open, which is also called the Austrian Open Kitzbuhel.

The tournament's venue is the Tennis Stadium Kitzbuhel which is located in Tyrol Alps. The event started in 1894 and even though there were only a few Austrian winners in the past, there is one player that can make the Austrian fans happy this year.

Dominic Thiem received a wild card for the tournament and the two-time Roland Garros champion will want to prove his qualities to the home crowd. But so will last year's champion Roberto Bautista Agut, who enjoyed a wholesome moment with his son during the trophy celebration last year.

Except for the two biggest favourite, the entry list for the 2023 Kitzbuhel Open includes the likes of Tomas Martin Etcheverry, Miomir Kecmanovic, Lorenzo Sonego, and Botic van de Zandschulp, all fighting for their share of 562,815€ in prize money.

The champion will be happy to add 250 ATP points to the rankings and 85,605€ to their bank account, and even though the runner-up will likely be disappointed after the final loss, that may change after seeing an additional 49,940€ on their bank account and the point total in the ATP Rankings increase by 150 points.

The first-round losers won't get any points for their participation, but they will get 6,035€ in prize money. On the other hand, the second-round appearance grants already 20 ATP points and 9,880€ while those that make it to the quarterfinals can expect to get 45 points and 17,010€.

Both losing semifinalists will get 90 points and 29,355€ along with almost a week spent in a beautiful setting in Kitzbuhel. To see the full prize money and points distribution for the 2023 Kitzbuhel Open, be sure to check it out below.
