The 2023 Kitzbuhel Open is an ATP 250 tournament played on the clay-courts in Austria and this year, it will be held from July 31st to August 5th.

Staged in the beautiful Austrian city at the Tennis Stadium Kitzbuhel, it's not a surprise that the tournament, which was founded already back in 1894, attracts a lot of interesting names every year and will welcome a competitive line-up also in 2023 with the entry list including the name that the home fans will want to see.

Last year, the event suffered after the Top 2 seeds Casper Ruud and Matteo Berrettini withdrew shortly before the event. This year, neither of them will compete in Kitzbuhel, but one player that will compete is the home hero Dominic Thiem who defeated Alberto Ramos-Vinolas in the 2019 final.

The Austrian will make yet another appearance at the event on his home soil and that's thanks to a wild card that he received. In 2022, Roberto Bautista Agut became the champion, and he celebrated it with his son during the trophy ceremony. The Spaniard will be back in 2023 to defend his title and extend the winning streak.

As every year, the tournament promises to be very competitive, and thanks to its surface, it attracts a lot of European and South American clay-court specialists. Some of those are Tomas Martin Etcheverry, Sebastian Baez, and Dusan Lajovic as all are set to compete.

Lorenzo Sonego, Botic van de Zandschulp, and Roberto Carballes Baena will all compete as well, and they will be joined by the 2020 champion of the event, Miomir Kecmanovic, as well as the runner-up from the same year, Yannick Hanfmann.
