2022 Stuttgart Open ATP Entry List - Berrettini, Kyrgios, Murray, Hurkacz & more

The 2022 Stuttgart Open is one of two tournaments that will herald the start of the grass-court.

This ATP 250 event in Germany will be played from June 6th until 12th and will feature a very strong entry list. It will run on the same week as the Libema Open in the Netherlands.

Several big names in men's tennis, active or retired, have won the Stuttgart Open in the past, with names like Andre Agassi, Ivan Lendl, Rafael Nadal, and Roger Federer among podium finishers.

This year, the organizers have worked hard to attract a talented pool of grass courters, including two-time Wimbledon champion Andy Murray and flashy Australian Nick Kyrgios.

Matteo Berrettini will return to ATP action after recovering from right-hand surgery. The Italian power hitter last played at the 2022 Indian Wells Open in early March. He is also a former champion at this event (2019), and this will be his second visit.

The top seed will be Greece's Stefanos Tsitsipas, who has accepted a wild card into the tournament in order to get much-needed grass-court preparation before Wimbledon. The 23-year-old will be chasing his first career title on the lawns.

Some dangerous big hitters, like Hubert Hurkacz and Denis Shapovalov, also feature. Meanwhile, the likes of Lorenzo Sonego, Alexander Bublik, and even Maxime Cressy can go deep if their serve is firing on all cylinders. Be sure to check the entry list for the Stuttgart Open below.
