Simona Halep's tennis achievements are incredible, but the Romanian got the chance to play with another tennis legend, the wheelchair player Michael Jeremiasz.

Since her exit from Roland Garros, Simona Halep has been spending time at the Mouratoglou tennis academy in the south of France. The Romanian tennis player is working hard with her coach to prepare well for Wimbledon.

This follows a difficult start to her coaching partnership with Patrick Mouratoglou. The two-time Grand Slam champion is yet to reach a semifinal under Mouratoglou's guidance, and she fell in the second round of the French Open to Qinwen Zheng.

Halep's loss to Zheng in Paris was also notable for another reason. She suffered a panic attack in the final two sets of the match, which left her unable to compete properly. The 30-year-old spoke very bravely about that situation after the defeat.

Players sometimes look to others for inspiration during difficult moments. Halep may have found some while playing alongside the multiple-time Grand Slam wheelchair doubles champion Jeremiasz.

The former French player won all four Grand Slam doubles titles during his illustrious career. He triumphed twice at the US Open, twice at Wimbledon, and once each at the French Open and Australian Open.

Jeremiasz's post below shows Halep and Mouratoglou in wheelchairs alongside the six-time Grand Slam doubles champion. This shows the pair were trying to get the best insight they could into how a wheelchair player feels on the court.

Wheelchair tennis has grown significantly in recent years. Top players like Halep's desire to gain an understanding of it is great to see and will alert more tennis fans to this exciting part of the sport.

It remains to be seen whether Halep gained some inspiration to carry into the rest of her season. Her next step is the grass court season, where she hopes to challenge for her second Wimbledon title.
